Easy fella the OP is obviously not English, fair play to him he got his question across. Can you help him with his question about what the plug is and where it should go?

Oh, come on! When I posted, he hadn't put the pictures on the post, so no, it didn't make any sense at all.. it actually seemed more like a joke.

It can be VERY easy to forget this is an International Forum.

In that case, maybe the condescending "Easy fella" quote might not have beent the best choice to avoid confusion...

When I change my battery, that connector (it's a brown one if I remember rightly) was routed around the inside of the battery box) not sure what it's for, but if you remove your battery you should be able to find the corresponding connector (will be same shape/colour)

And after looking at your pics I'd recommend cleaning the contact plates on the live connector and getting a battery cover

Trust me, if I had wanted to be condescending I would have been. I wasnt confused, you were. Thats your problem not mine.

"Easy fella" is nowhere near as bad as " WTF do you think you are doing geez..." or similar.

I'm pretty sure this connector is for the Xenon lights.
The connectors are left unused when the standard lights are fitted.

You're right Argo sorry... I just dislike it when people who dont have English as their 1st language get somehow derided.

I'm done.

As mentioned, your best bet would be to remove your battery giving you better access to the wiring loom and finding any loose connectors.
