stilo 006.jpgTook a look at the suspension today to investgate reason for knocking sound . I suspected a broken bolt or similar - because droplinks and springs are all recent replacements -but found this rubber bush had come unstuck from the arm. Admittedly its over six years old but this is a first for me.

if i see it correctly on the picture the metal bushing with the vulcanised rubber inside has come out the wishbone - this part is pressed in and can be purchased separate.
However the rest of the wishbone might be worn out so replacement of the complete wishbone might be a better option.

Would probably be easier too as Stilo wishbones are easy to replace and not all that expensive.

I think I paid about £40 but then you'll need to get the tracking sorted too.

I had already been advised not to try to replace bushes! New wishbone bought from local supplier, less than £40. Getting fixed asap.
In the meantime the bottom link swivel joint pinchbolt (part 7707587) is out of stock at local Fiat dealer -- does anyone know of the dimensions of this so a substitute can be found?
