Right, if you want your 1.6 Stilo remapped and a gain in BHP put your name below, if we get a good number I will petition Nige from Angel Tuning, he will then have to buy the software (he's a bit of a tightwad) and do our cars and I'll get us a 10% Club Stilo discount too, so come on put your hands in your pockets, £300 for a tune is cheap!

Please only post on here if you are supporting this petition!

Update..................................

When I last spoke to Nige he said that we were looking at £495 to have our 1.6s done and that he'd have the equipment toward the end of Oct/beginning of November. I'm going to bail out of this because it's too close to Christmas, more than I expected and I've just booked next years holiday too!

Nige, I'll be back when I'm feeling flush again...................................

Yeah.. do we know if there is anything about the 1.8s yet; as i fort they were just the same engine as the 1.6; but bored out more!

As i would'nt mind mine doing?! Just going to check how much extra on the insurance that would be?!

Is the price the same as quoted for the 1.6??

I got a Unichip(Piggy Back) on my Stilo.
Acording to the DYNO sheet it made 95.64HP on the wheels before the chip
and Afterwards 107HP on the wheels.
I will post the Dyno Sheets tommorw :)

Is that the 1.6 ???

Where did you get it done ???

How much did it cost ???

More than you can afford, but you are not going to have a choice.

We are not going to be doing anything for a while now as we have just invested in the latest OBD kit - and it doesnt include the 1.6 - its too damn old mate

Twincamms YIP its a 1.6 Stilo. But got it done at very well know tuner here in South-Africa Steves Auto Clinic the cost was around 320

As you can see, our tuning guys have no interest in 1.6/1.8 variants, so we are stuck with standard tune cars!

We had the interest and the funds, but we were let down by the owners so we moved on and other investments have been made. Can't invest £6k on 2 cars :-( so its not a case of interest from us - its the lack of interest from the owners which the minimal replies to this thread kinda shows lol!

One day soon though we may have an alternative option for you, but you already baulked at the cost......
Cheers bud

Nige
