The first day I drove my new Stilo 1.6 up to 200 km of distance. The Second day I took it to the highway mataining 120-140 km/hr for 300 Km of distance. Then after I speeded it up to 180 km/hr for overtaking aroud 3-5 km of distance. I wonder whether I harmed the engine of my new car or not?

Now I have owned this car for one week up to 1400 km of distance. I am satisfied with the performance and comfort of this car. Thanks for your attention and answer.

Generally speaking all new cars have their engine "worked" from the factory. Or at least that is what is said. Nevertheless I think that you sould take it easy!:D I mean it is anew car and you should not push it so much from day 1! Give it a llitle time to adjust itself! Poor thing! at least tke it easy for the first 2000 Khm. Afetr that I would sujest that you change the oils in your engine to clear away any tiny pieces of metal that may have been created from those first days of running the car. It is just a precaution not a must, really.
Well, that is all. Enjoy your car. Hope you bought it with the skywindow!

Fiat Stilo 80 Active, no alloys, no power tuning, love the sky window though!

Dear fast Stilo driver,

driving your Stilo fast from the beginning is not harmful for the engine - especially not since it is not a diesel engine. With diesel engines you have to be a little more careful. They need more time to settle. The only important thing is to let the engine warm up properly and then let the beast go. So no worries with your Stilo 1.6
He will do just fine. A good tip is to change the oil after some 5000 km's as mentioned by 'pantjo'.
Happy 'Stilo' driving :)
