My Key Fob is broken, it's nothing major, just very annoying.
The problem is the key no longer 'blips' out (is there a technical term?)
I do have the annoying habit of playing with it, and presume it has snapped some sort of spring inside.
It still goes back ok, but i need to pull it out when needed.
I have the spare key, but want to fix it if possible.
Any body had the same problem?

It should be easy to open it and reveal the mechanism - I think it is also an access to the battery for remote. I'm sure that you can improvise some solution, especially if you have spare key.

Very easy to open. Pry fiat badge off. Remove battery. Undo screw that can be found under where badge was. Pry cover apart. Within the cover the blase sits on a spring. It is probable that the spring has slipped causing tension loss. Simply rewind the blade until there is tension and replace cover. Replace screw, battery and badge after ascertaining tension is satidfactory.

Thanks for the kind offer John(y)
Took the fob apart, after following Wings advice, only to find a tin bit of plastic has snapped off:(
I think some super glue should solve the problem:slayer:
Thanks for the advice:D

I had the same thing on mine as well. Seems to be a weak point in the key :(

I ended up getting a cheap second hand fob off ebay and swapping out the gubbins inside (y)
