Hi,

Just refitted my wheel after changing the tyre, but I don't know the correct torque for the nuts. Looked through the handbook but couldnt find em. They are standard FIAT alloys, Ill put up a pic so you know which ones.

Does anyone know the correct torque please?

Cheers :)

That's one tidy motor Kurt. Provided you are using a reasonably long bar, I work to 'just make sure it's tight' school of tightening! But if you torque to about 85 Nm you'll be fine.

I think youve hit it right on the nut Phil I asked at a tyre depot about this and the guy said 85 NM(y)

In a very basic terms - just do it up as tight as you reasonably can with the standard wrench and it will be fine.

A good rule is to do it twice - but on opposing bolts so that eventually each has been tightened twice.

OK thanks for the replies people. I had done it up to "pretty tight" :D , will now go and torque it up properly.

And hope the wheel doesn't fall off 10 miles down the road :yum:
