with Norways crazy and ever increasing fuel prices i am looking at alternatives.
Has any body on FF had or use LPG or other fuels from the norm?

Are they expensive to have them fitted? do they couse lack of power in the car..

Any information or good instillation websites would be good..

I will await your information, Cheers...

Just curious, but how much do you pay for Petrol and Diesel in Norway at the moment?

petrol is around 1.30 pounds a litre !!
desiel is around 1.40 pounds a litre !!!

Prices change every hour in NORWAY, i drive to work and fill up, and on the way home it could be the eqivalent to 5pounds a tank up or down !!!!

the price of fuel has gone up 45% in the last 4 years, and it is due to hit around 162 for petrol by summer and 1.90 by christmas !!!!!!!

now you see my interest in alternative fuels.....whats bioethnal or something like that?

It seems to be going up daily in the UK at the moment too. About £1.15 petrol and £1.26 diesel.
There are a few long threads about conversions if you search, but I think it costs over £1000 to convert a car. You can also buy the parts from e-bay and do it yourself for around £500 - £600 but there are all sorts of pitfalls with LPG as some systems work well on some cars and others are terrible, but work well on a different brand of car. You will need a sequential multi point system for a Stilo.

Is there any other options apart from LPG? or is that it on a petrol engine?
can you run on more than one fuel at once?
whats flexifeul? bioethanel?

Just to have an idea... What is your basic sallary? So that i can compare the prices with ours...

No affence intended but i would rather not anounce my salery...sorry (buts it very good)

However i would be happy to say from my experrience that very few people will do any kind of work for less than 15english pounds an hour..

personally i wouldent get out of bed for that here, but then this is a VERY expensive country...

No no no!!!
I'm not asking your sallary...

Sorry!

I was asking in general. An average sallary... The basic that a worker gets!

Didnt mean to!

no worries, relax...
well i think you are asking the average price, it is much higher than the uk, but then again we pay much more tax so it all works out the same really...
but here is the shocker...new cars are almost exactly TWICE the price of new cars in uk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it makes me sick
by the way, i am english, i have been in Norway for the past 4 years....
