I need a little help on adjusting the headlights... Does anyboddy knows how to manually adjust the position of the headlight? There must be a screw somewhere to adjust the height... Where is it? :)

I tried manually adjusting mine but i wasnt too comfortable doing it! So come MOT time, i got them to do it and its spot on. (y)

the ones on the outside do left and right
the ones on the inside are for up and down.
mine were very stiff, and felt like they were stuck, but was gentle and firm. and they moved nicely. the guy at the mot centre didn't want to do it himself incase he snappd it. so he let me do it while he told me up or down. also showed me how they measure them. very interesting :)

On my old fiesta, i adjusted the headlights myself and i had both of them pointing directly straight as i believed they should be. On the stilo however, both headlights are more pointing to the left, is that how they supposed to be?

in general you want to illuminate the left (to see pedestrians and the like) and the center for driving on the left hand side of the road

Hi guys!!
I tried to manually adjust my stilo headlights and snapped it now I can not find new headlights for a reasonable price.Do someone know where I can find it even second hand will do?

i'm turning the white sticks but it doesn't seem to be moving the light (my drivers side light is pointing upwards and to motor is whirring away) Bit worried as off to France at the weekend... and I don't want to blind the French drivers!

Sounds pretty much like the headlight adjustment motor. Mine went all funny last year and was making a whirring noise but the light was aimed straight at the floor. I replaced the motor and it was fine again. It may have popped out of place or worse, broke. Fiat charge about £45 for a new motor... A big amount for a tiny component!

Have a look at the back of your light units. You can't miss them (y)

Not the best pic, but you can see the white adjuster on the back of the headlamp unit on the right.

These may be easier to see.

The square aluminium ECU/Igniter will only be fitted if you have gas discharge headlamps.

Just be doing these and can confirm the diagram above is correct not the previous post, so it's the outside adjusters that do up & down. Need to remove the battery cover to get access to the left side though.

Thanks people for answers......I will try tomorow to adjust my right headlight, because,i think that stepper motor is dead.No sound from him.Left works fine, but right(n)
