(G) Passenger side seat belt not retracting?

Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

Its really really slow at retracting!

Pull it all the way out and it goes fast for about quarter of the belt and then stops... only goes in if you pull it out and then retracts some more?

I doesnt appear to be twisted.

They reckon simply cleaning the roller at the top where the belt slides over improves things dramatically as well as removing the fish and chip paper, bits of kebab, sticky sweets etc

Take the cover off the B pillar and see if there is a twist in the belt where it goes down inside the pillar. I had this on my drivers one. Took the twist out and it now works much better.

Hmm ive got this problem too, will get the cleaning products out!
