A man of few words! Care to elaborate? Easy job? Tricky? Any tips?

I think what mark did Phil was to tilt the ecu down to miss he cross bar of the brace by removing some of the fixing bolts..was hoping to find some pics but couldnt ..no gallery for marks car or engine..:bang:
 
right here we go, study the pics.

im only using two nuts, also if you look at the base plate for the ecu, there is a a piece of metal on the right hand side sticking up about 2 inches, note they are not on my photos, i angled grinded it away, removing the ecu 1st of course;)

thats the only way to mount the ecu at an angle and moving the wires away from the brace

however if your car is a phase 1 you shouldnt need to move the ecu. the phase 2's had the engine moved further back to help ballance, hence when coming to mount a strutbrace, it chafes the wires, and then you have issues.

When did the phase 2's come out? My brace is pretty close to the ecu and now you've got me worrying that it might be chafing.
