My aircon compressor clutch does not seem to kick in when i press the button on my abarth.
What will hold it off electricaly ? Fuse's locations to check etc, all the fans ramp up etc.
Want to get ready for this scorching summer were going to have.

Hi Dave can't help you with the fuse location...but sure I have read in other posts that it the air con needs re-gassing then it will not work the compressor , may be worth a search and see what pops up as I have never had an issue with air con..

Yes, most common reason for compressor not kicking in is a lack of gas pressure.

This is your air con linear pressure switch and if the pressure it too low or too high then it signals a "no go" for power to the compressor clutch.

Quickest test is to hook up and check your gas pressure. Air con engineer will do this for you in 5 mins
