(G) Who's Bought No 1392 Schumacher

Hey guys, thought I'd join you seeing as this forum is how I found Alumvals Schuey. Bought it about 3 weeks ago - great motor in great nick.

Been filling up all the time but it's worth it to finally dispense with the polo 1.4! Managed to scrape the front skirt coming out of a car park though! Its lower than you think!

One small problem Im having is regarding the stereo - the front speakers sometimes cut out - I think its something to do with the passenger door and a connection in there. Will have to get it seen to. Did you have any problem with that Alumval?

Anyway I am the new owner of 1392!

I had exactly the same problem last week, the fix for it is to open the doors.. on the rubber gaiter going into the bulkhead is a grey ring on the plastic clip end.. just grab this and pull it up, the connector will just pull off, spray with some wd40 or contact cleaner and clip back on.. just a bad connection... ive not had problems since
