Re: Progress on Stilo induction

tht sound like a good idea! Killing two birds wiv one stone, so i can get my map done whilst im at stanford? Although im want a live map dose that make any difference to able to do it there... the only reason i want a live map is because of me exhaust and induction kit!

But the downside is i want it rolling roaded for befores and after? Is anything happening with this RR? Cant remember if stanford was stricked out for it or not :chin:

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

*BUMP*

Just bring this up again to the attention of any new members whom might be intrested in an induction kit..... this is the way forward (y)

And remember people those who are going to standford hall on the 11-06-06, it could be a perfect time to get it sorted out - nothing like killing to birds with one stone :)

Any news on the development of the kits pete?

and hows the redesign for hose going on the 1.8 as i just remember you've still got my original hose. Not to worrie though as ill pick it up when i sort out with you about the remap! (@oldschool - i did send you a pm the other day about that & a few other questions did you get it?)

I would imagine Rob he is very busy what with the relocation of his business he probably hasn't checked his mail of late I sure he will get in touch when he has got everything straight at his new place (y)

Hi everyone, havent been on in a long while (long story)
Anyways, i spoke to peter from GSR (oldskool) and popped down to his workshop in dagenham on wednesday. Came out with some very useful information and more importantly had the GSR induction kit fitted to my 1.8 stilo. I have to agree with the others that this purchase is a must for anyone with the 1.8. The torque delivery is smoother and more consistant, power is there from almost all of the rev range. Its completly changed the car for the better.
Thank you so much peter for taking time out of your day, i will speak to you soon no doubt!!

Another happy stilo owner :woot: still waiting for my live remap and induction so if your ready Peter then give me the nod (y)

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Hello. Does anyone know any rumors about the induction kit. Will it be hard to fit? Any spare parts needed etc.? Just curious.

Morten.

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Still waiting on Oldschool for the completion of these I havnt heared from him for a while so I just take it that he is very busy but I think a PM might be in order Just to see how he's doing :)

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

i was supposed to be at his rolling road but missed it cos i was on holiday.. hopefully i'll be seeing him shortly about these as i'm after his induction kit too.. we fitted a kit to my mates hgt punto recently and it was pretty straight forward!! he did say he'll be at santa pod next saturday!!!;)

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Well as your there and I can't make the trip I would be eternaly gratful if you could ask him how the induction kits are coming along tell him I'm getting twitchy ;) in antisipation etc etc :p

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

1.2:
The waiting for a 1.2 goes on. But we have successfully fitted cams to the 1.2 16v Punto.

1.4:
Still waiting for test car.

1.6:
The tooling is nearly finished. We also work on maps of standard car.

1.8:
Redesign for induction hose has stalled temporarily because of changes to the Stilo 1.8 near the battery. We have done some homework on the mapping side in the meantime.

1.9 JTD:
Waiting for test car.

2.4:
The physical making of the tooling has started. Also I am looking in my relaxation breaks into sports cat and the whole exhaust. The manifold seems to be quite good, which means we might get away doing only the rest. I can't find a second hand head and cams neither.

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Try sending Oldschool a pic of your engine Juego as I did that should help him a little but make sure its of the induction side of the engine as mine is (y)

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Whats involved for actually "Offering" your car as a test car?
You see, in the interests of science :p oh and my car performing better, i would be happy to let OS prod around my car (JTD), but i need it for work etc, so cant afford to have it of the road for long, if that makes any sense?.
So there its an offer although i know slightly limited.

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

so what would happen if i offered my car up? 1.4. ac. how long would it take and will it void any warrenty or the sort?

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

If you offer your car up I think Peter will basically want to check position of induction hose length and route it takes I don't think he will physically mess with your engine it will be like going to the Taylor's to be measured for a suit [I'm sur he will come on and explain this to you guys [and thanks for offering] (y)

gsr induction kits

just a note for all the 1.6 16v owners i tried getting hold of one of the gsr filter kits but have been told there not being made at the moment and he would e-mail me when there back in stock. fingers crossed its soon as the k&ns are rubbish.
if any one has one of the kits that is unused please let me know as i really need one!!!!!
