Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Oldschool, these particular induction kits.. you got any jazz about them.
I'm quite content with the sound my K&N gives, but i'm not impresed that it make no speed difference and seems to have increaed the size of that first to 2nd dead spot.
a better induction kit is needed.

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

Heres what you gotta do take off the K&N and go into your garden and bury it  and hopefully it will grow and produce a lot of little ones that you could sell on to the chavs out there on ebay or you could offer them to Beau as a job lot as genuine reproductions:rolleyes: :D the GSR induction system is a mathimaticaly worked out system and WILL give you an increase unlike the K&N.

FYI, i bought the K&N because I could, it was easy to get hold of and didn't cost me the earth. But sure, you havea link for this GSR induction kit? as long as it's easier to fit than this bloody K&N i'll be happy.

The kit is in the making. Once the standard induction is out it will be quite easy to fit. What should make you happy regarding the GSR kit is the performance increase due to the better flow characteristics and subsequently the maps that can be done to improve performance even further.

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

any news on the situation on the remaps pete, as im waiting with the cash and quite eger to get it done (y)

Also hows the kit for the 1.8 going have you finished making the new hose from my old standard hose yet? as the other one is still slightly rubbing on the corner of the battery tray.....

Re: Progress on Stilo induction

1.2:
Still waiting for test car. Lacking access to the Stilo 1.2 we have prepared several maps for the Punto Sporting, which possibly need some adapting to Stilo. If a test car is available we can make sure what adaptations are needed for a Stilo 1.2 version of the Punto Sporting kit.

The wait continues.

1.4:
Still waiting for test car.

1.6:
The original induction hose arrived from Fiat. The tooling is making progress. We also work on maps of standard car.

1.8:
Redesign for induction hose making progress.

1.9 JTD:
Waiting for test car.

2.4:
Design is making progress.

Come on people Oldschool needs the 1.2/1.4/jtd/and 2.4 as test cars its no good moaning when you cant get a decent induction kit and have to use an inferior one so get your bums in gear and help Peter out its as much for your benefit as others GET TO IT (y)
