Re: GSR induction Kit

nope, im not kidding, im contemplating not putting it back on..

unless i had it on wrong? and for some reason, the cone keeps coming loose from the pipe, no matter how tight its fitted

how long was it on, have you ever cleaned the filter?

i usually rough up the out side of the grey connector to stop them coming off. some times though people have over tightened the clip and then they jump an wont go fully tight

That goes back quite a way Argo and things change..I would like to point out that I am no longer involved with GSR in any capacity what so ever ..please do not contact me or PM me for any info in relation to gsr induction kits..

Thankyou..

Can't have been put on right then. I took mine off (for MOT I have same engine as yours BTW IIRC) and it felt flat as a fart no torque low down which it has plenty off with the kit fitted.

Re: GSR induction Kit

This is perhaps a bit old but here goes.

Putting on a trick zorst and/or free flowing inlet kit can make the engine run weak. On a carburettor engine it definitely will. With fuel injection the MAF should show the ECU exactly how much air is flowing and everything should adjust automatically. But if the MAF is reading the air flow wrong the mods could be making the engine run weark and lose power.

Try cleaning the MAF sensing wire. If that helps change the MAF because cleaning the wire is only a temporary bodge.
