Had my Stilo need some minor repairs for an MOT. My friend is quite a handy mechanic so did the business. He said that there was a a wire that needed clipping and re-soldering near the back brakes when he was replacing a bush but ever since then I am getting warning messages on the dash saying that the ASR/ABS/EBD has failed. Is there a posibility that a cable has gone aomewhere? Could it be because the battery was disconnected?

Help needed fairly urgently as the re-test is due next week and I dont think It will pass the MOT with the warning lights on

Too suspicious

Sounds like the handy mechanic has broken/affected the abs sensor or its wiring

"He said that there was a a wire that needed clipping and re-soldering near the back brakes when he was replacing a bush"

defo sounds like he broken the connection, rule of thumb "dont touch stilo electrics unless you know for certain what your doin" and you have messed with stilo's before.

a technician at my garage wouldnt take the dash out to stop the rattle coz he was affraid of disturbing the wiring:eek:
