Im about to change the pads on my stilo JTD is there anything i should know about changing these? on my old golf i used to have a special tool for the rear breaks.
also is there only 1 sensor on the pads?
 
Straight forward on the front (only one sensor as you say) but I'd advise you search the Forum for info on the rears as they can be very tricky.

Masses of info if you use Search
 
You will need a piston wind back tool for the rears ..but you can get over that with a G clamp and a pair of grips.also the drivers side winds in clockwise and the kurbs side anti clockwise.. I take it you are referring to the ware sensor on the fronts and yes there is only one and thats on the kurb side iirc..(y)
