Hi,

I have a Fiat Stilo Dynamic estate 16v
My engine management light came on a few days ago and the car started missing.
Its done this 3 times before on on each occasion it was the coil pack that needed replacing.
After paying a fortune to get it sorted the past 3 times I bought a coil pack and had a friend who is an engineer fit it for me.
The car is now running fine but the light is still on and it beeps all the time which is driving me crazy.
I was just wondering if anyone knows should the light go out on its own after the fault is fixed or does it need resetting.
The car seems to be running fine its not missing at all but don't want to drive it just in case there is something more sinister lurking.

You need to drive the car 3 times for the light to be reset (just starting the engine is NOT enough).

If it doesn't go out after three attempts then you've got another problem
