yeah i had always been opposed to white cars myself but when i saw this something in my mind clicked. ran down to the bank to get the finance for the difference between what i had and what i needed. got it for the equivalent of 4090 UK Pounds (5350 euro) and insured fully comp for 1150 pounds (1500 euros). its got the usual intermittent airbag issue, but i'll take a can of component cleaner to the connectors at the weekend. i want to paint the brake calipers as well.

In regards to painting the calipers, should i paint them white or red? or maybe blue?

if thats the two colours you have in mind then i would go for red 100%...

ohh.and get your grill done,it catches ure eye..

i think the grille makes it look nice

breaks up the colour (that and the rubbing strips )

what i mean to say is if you look closer you will see that part of the grill is broken,or is it my eyes...

i see what you mean now, it looks broken to me as wel but it could just be the photo

no you're right there is a small piece missing from the grille.
anyone know if its possible to get the new style grille to fit this like the ones that shipped with the 2006 stilos.

well joshua,i don't kno why but this is bugging me now.is it broken or is it not,this is the question,,,i hope its not but i think it is....

The new style grill [last update ] will fit all stilo's and is around the £20 mark from your friendly stealer

I gotta say in white it looks the doggy's dodaaars..very nice indeed .is it original or a respray though :chin: asking that as I'm not 100% sure if white was a stilo colour option ..

cool. it came in white originally. i did a car history check online just to make sure it wasn't clocked, crashed, written off, still under finance etc... and one of the checks is to see if its been resprayed as the cars colour is recorded when its registered by the Revenue and its always been white. i had a look on autotrader last night, and there are 3 white 5door stilos for sale in the uk. so it must be a rare enough colour.

PNL: do you know if the grille is easy to replace? i can imagine it wouldnt be too hard???

Hardest part is getting the old one off without snapping the lugs off and fitting the new one is easy ..

If i was you i'd get the rub strips and handles colour
co-ordianted and sray the calipers red..

Oh and im selling my eibach lowering springs if ya interested,
