Also when I bough my fat a***d little car it had a crappy cassette.
Dixons are changing it for a cd, that was the deal.Now they say they are having troubles locating one[}] surely not the case[!]

yeah it does but you can change it by holding down the menu button and scrolling through the options, (i think) not to come on automatically!

Yep as BlackJTD said below its in the menu functions... however there are two stages to the menu functions a quick press gives one set of functions and a longer press ( over 2 seconds ) gives another set of functions... I believe the AUTO ON/OFF with ignition is in the second set of functions.

Press MENU for longer than two seconds and press the menu key until you find AUTO ON/OFF and then press >> to set.

I have posted this as a seperate topic, but haven't got any response. How is the Auto On feature switched off on the ConnectNav+ system.
