Yesterday i was trying to get my car running and warm up to go to work,
but when i turn on the key nothing. No sound, only control lamps went on and my radio started, but as soon as i turn on the key all lamps shut down. What i want to know if it's battery (i hope it is) is there any chance i change it by myself. What about my on board computer, radio code, or other eletronics will it be all right, or do i have to go to my service shop. BTW i got Stilo 1.2 16V 02'.

PLEASE HELP!!

You can just disconnect the battery, charge it up and reconnect it. You lose non important settings like radio preferences and time and day etc but you can easily reinsert those. Radio code might need to be reinserted depending on your head unit

More importantly, try to find out the reason why your battery became flat

Get a new battery - the biggest one you can afford (e.g. 75 Amp hour). I regularly suffered a flat battery (even with a new replacement battery of the same size as factory fitted). Once I'd upgraded to a larger battery I've have had no problems at all since.

Since i bough used car and the production year is 02', i think 6 years is a long time to dry a battery out.

What are u talking about radio code, where can i find that code and where do i need to insert it. Remember it is used car, and only thing i got is a manual i don't have original service book. So if u know where to find it please help me.
