General Windscreen Woe...

after having my car back after its minor bump ive now got a big crack in my wind screen!!! not happy again

does anyone know if the black plastic strip that seals against the bottom of the windscreen below teh wipers is meant to be slightly loose?

mine is tight m8, but i dont think it has anything to do with the windscreen.

appears to be 3 press studs, one at each end one in the middle.

yeah i checked mine too and there really loose i can pull them out! any ideas how to sort folks?! go back to dealer?

now got the windscreen replaced and the black valance type thingy is now tight to the screen again! apparently it sits on a runner which tends to be prone to breaking, according to the autoglass chap! hopefully i can go a week without something going wrong now...
