Hi, the battery on my 2003 1.6 stilo is playing up. It doesn't seem to charge up very well and struggles to turn the engine over on a cold morning. Also when i raise the revs just above idle speed the headlights get brighter in an instant not gradualy. If i disconnect the battery on the car charging can i expect any problems such as lost codes (i know i might loose the radio code, which i dont have) but will anything else go down?

tbh i doubt charging the battery will help.
the battery is really just to get the car started and the alternator runs the elctrics after that.
got a multimeter?

sounds like a knakered battery. charging it off the car wont help and you may make it explode if you are unlucky. Buy a new battery.
