General What is a Dynamic ?

General What is a Dynamic ?

Active is a basic model, and all of them have air-condition as standard.
I drive Dynamic version (2002 model, bought in Italy, but never had dynamic badge on side).
So this comes standard on Dynamic year 2002 model:
- door knobs + rearview mirrors in the same color as a car
- grill has silver lines (instead all black on active)
- front armrests and back armrests with cup holders and a tray
- all 4 power windows
- sliding back seats with adjusting angle
- airplane style, folding plastic table on back of the front passenger seat
- 2 drawers under front seats
- RDS radio width cassette deck
- lights above mirrors in sunshades
- ASR
This are the basics of dynamic model but you can see some with ESP.

Dynamic can also have some extras.
- air-condition is standard but you can get "dual zone" digital climate control
- RDS radio with CD
- alloy wheels are 15'' but you can choose 16''
- auto-wipers & auto lights
- skywindow
- plush or leather interior
There are some more options, but what I wrote about standard features should be on all dynamic models.

Hope this will help.

Thanks TejmaLee,
Looks the loike the Dynamic varies from country to country. Mine has the CD player and 16 inch alloys but only the front windows are powered. It is a UK 2003 car.

As you say some buyers got extras.

What about the split tailgate ? Mine has that.

about the noise going over bumps, it could be the rear bushes. Cost just a few quid.

The dynamic also had the split rear boot. ASR was on the early models and then took it off over here. They took a few things off to make a little cheaper!! Rear windows were an option on the dynamic as far as i am aware and not standard. As stated its a m/w..so no Abarth kit!

Yes, split tailgate is standard for all Multiwagon.

Greetings

P.S. my previous post was about 5 door dynamic equipment, not a Multiwagon. As "Leo" and "Big Black Stilo" said depending on a year manufactured, and market, it did had some differences. I also noticed that Multiwagen lost ASR button since 2004 and got a CD.

The follow me home lights are there - Just pull the left "indicator" stalk towards you when you turn the engine off. The screen will say "Follow me 30s" keep pulling the stalk towards you to extend the time!
alloys.

Excellent - i never knew about this!!! thanks very much

OK, a bit away from the Dynamic stuff but can anyone tell me about the different types of MW tailgate? My 03 car has the stepped type with no key hole. What cars have the flatter type with key hole ??

BTW - having great fun with the follow-me-home facility

It's just difference between older and newer model. Newer models lost stepped type tailgate.

i am afraid you are wrong..active models come with the straight boot which is just one big door. the one with the step at the bottom has a split boot, you can open half the boot or the full boot which comes with dynamic models. The Active model which is the entry model doesn't have this split boot as standard..regardless of the year!!

both stilos in the pictures above are old models because the pillar on the rear is colour coded to the car on the newer models. the one on the right is an active model becuase it doesn't have colour coded door handles or the split boot, unlike the one on the left which has colour coded door handles and a split boot

Hmmm... now you got me confused. I've checked out a lot of MW models and only thing that I noticed, about boot door, was that only the window can be lifted independently from the door on dynamic models. I suppose you call this split boot.
As I am not much into MW models, maybe you know better, but what I wrote was in previous post what FIAT dealer told me .

Anyway check attached images and see for yourself.
