ikeep getting engine icon on the dash says engine fault then the message goes out icon stays but car runs ok ne ideas

I had this fault and had it fixed under the third year dealer's warranty.

My dealer said one of the sensors was faulty and they reprogrammed it using their machine.

Actually the car runs far better than it ever has, I had a problem stalling the car at times, but that starting off seems more certain than ever now.

Anyway whatever it's fixed.

I kinda had the same problem on mine, only mine dropped back to idling speed when the warning came on, it ended up being the throttle body which i had replaced under warranty.
Id certainly take it into fiat and get it looked at, you dont want your car to stop working when your drivin along, trust me its not a nice experience.
