Hello everyone driving home on friday night and i notice that i can here the exhaust which doesnt normally happen as my music generally drowns it out. So i turn it down and my car sounds like a tank. Anyway i check it in the moning and the fronn pipe has completely sheered from the CAT.
Just to confim i had an aftermarket stainless system from the Flexipie backwards fitted two weeks ago. So should i be getting the guy who made it to fix it at his expense or can this just happen.
I have already given the car over to be fixed but i get the feeling he is going to charge me so any thoughts would be much appreciated because i collect it today and would like to have all the facts so i dont make a fool of myself when he tries to charge me and i get the arse.

When I had mine made it was from the cat and not the flexy why the hell has he gone from the flexy cant he make the front pipe ..got a feeling he will charge you for this one because its broken at the cat and isnt anything to do with the system he has made .. I also remember another member having the same problem recently ..PNL goes off to search

I would say that if the exhaust has been tampered with, then maybe its the fault of the fitter. Could be that they disconnected the front pipe and refitted badly. These things don't just break. There must be a reason for it.

Worth a claim in my opinion.
