Not entirely sure you can really compare the two, a Stilo will be much cheaper as the 159 is still a car new to the market and as such 2nd hand values are still quite steep!

It depends on how much you want to spend!

Failing all that buy a 156 GTA!

Get the 159(y) (but keep the stilo for when the alfa is in garage for seat - swirl chamber - manifold - lock - tracking & assorted electrical faults;)) nice to drive though.

LOL dont you just love Italian cars :bang: so could be a case of better the devil you know than the devil you dont  :p

That good? Look cracking and found myself staring at one in traffic the other night, but are they worth a 7-9 group leap up the insurance groupings? Not sure if its worth it over the Stilo... didn't bother with a 156 that my company were selling off for similar reasons.

:confused:should i buy an alfa 159 or keep the stilo

If theres such a thing as more Italian to drive, then you could class the alfa as more Italian. I have had a 156 and my gf owned a 147 for 3 months lol she didn't like it much.
The fiats have a bit of character and are in the area between the cars like focus, astra etc and the cars like the 156,159,147, which have alot of character and feel and sound like they have a pair.
Go test the 159, and if you like it then be confident in the fact that both alfa and fiat have in recent years employed foriegners to design the electrics in there cars :D
