Hi guys,

Has anyone fitted aftermarket traction control to a Stilo? I'm think of adding this to mine, to help cure some on the on-power understear and to give me a bit of a safety margin in the wet.

I've being doing a lot of research and reading lots other car forums, they have got really good reviews.

I'm a bit worried about the Stilo senstive electronics as you have to tap in to the ABS and injectors feeds. Will the Stilo not like this and throw a hissy fit (ie, lots of error messages and bad things!). Do you think it would be ok to run something like this on the CAN?

Anyone fancy a group buy?! :slayer:

I have Racelogic TC fitted to my Supra twin turbo, and its superb. Doesn't tap into the stock ECU at all, it connects into the abs sensors.

I can even run the stock toyota TC with the Racelogic, but I always switch the stock TC off as its just far too slow to react.

The racelogic system is, well, amazing. Fully adjustable and even has a launch control built in.

I've not really tested out the Stilo's TC, doesn't really make enough power to do anything in the dry, compared to the Supra anyway!

Mine cuts the spark to the plugs (have individual coils like the Stilo), rather than cutting the injectors.

I highly recomend it.

I have the Racelogic TC with launch control and data logging fitted in my scooby. I've never had a problem with it! Quality bit of kit!

Cheers,
Alan
