Is this a record?

As most postings concern problems of one sort or another I would like to report that my 06 Stilo 1.4 aircon active has just completed its first year of service without any faults or problems. Does this indicate that it's always best to buy the last batch of a model before it is replaced, on the grounds that all the faults have beeen sorted by then? Best car I ever had.

Normally that's what I tell people to do but in this case I'd have to say NO.

Mine is an 02 and is running perfectly

No errors and all systems fully functional (of which there are many).

Even the original battery is still going strong after about 5 years (but only just)

"Best car I ever had". Funny, I was thinking exactly the same little over an hour ago

Good stuff, the only problems I've had are the radiator, it started leaking just after the 3 year warranty expired and the under tray being removed when it went in for servicing and not replaced

I intend to add a special inhibitor/lubricant soon although that's mainly because I want to protect the water pump.

You've just reminded me - my cars not perfect after all - I've got 2 clips missing from my undertray

Must try and locate those special fittings

I realize this but you can be interested in the Forum for many reasons. I have asked quite a few questions and got some useful tips from other members. I have also given opinions on other members' queries from time to time. So, even if my car never goes wrong I still think it is worthwhile to participate in the Forum.

Finally fitted the new drivers side engine side/under shroud... went fine until the rear bolt into the front sub frame snapped Drilled it out and refitted undertray properly... under me Stilo is now a duck tape free zone

So are you still using original fittings or have you found a new source?
