I want to put one of these St Georges cross flags on my 3dr Stilo!!!
I have a flag that hooks on the glass but i dont want to put it on the glass on the door just incase it buggers up the elecric window. Plus it will be open slighty and will be annoying whilst driving.
I was thinking of putting the flag onto my aerial - Do you think this would be ok??? i was worried it mat tear it off!!!!

has anyone else found a place do proudly display their England flag on their 3dr Stilo???

Fiat Stilo 3dr 1.6 Dynamic, Sassi grey, Rear Spoiler, 17inch Wheels, Sill protectors.

I put a small one on my aerial but after driving to work (all motorway) it had destroyed itself. Not sure if it was due to the location or the quality of the flag itself (plastic).

I think I'll try a fabric one next - same location.

Those glass mounted ones look like they are going to snap off any second!

Yes, I was wondering where to put my Italian Tricolore, and it's more of a problem for me, it will need to be more durable as they are going to progress further than England who will only play three games! :D

Don't bother putting the England flag on just yet. But the time Euro 2004 starts, the flag will be in tatters - much like the chances of the team when it comes to winning it;)

Spoken like a true Welshman...for effect only...happily living abroad!

My friend she has a C3 and the aerial is the same type and position as the Stilo and thats where she has the fabric flag, she did need to tie a small piece of cotton around the top of the flag to stop it flying off ( deamon girlie driver ) ;)

I would suggest that you buy some nice metal flags that you can put on just below the side repeaters so that you can be a full time English person - rather than just a part timer who is only Engish when there is a vague chance of winning something sporting involving a ball.

Or you could follow the current world cup cycling team who are winning rather a lot of late. I realise that they aren't overpaid, driving Ferraris etc., but they've certainly got balls (well, more balls than those pussies who try and get a penalty if you fart in their general direction)

Don't get me wrong, I like football, it's all this fake nationalism that gets on me (very pert) tits

Oooh, I've been ranting.....

Can I be the old moaner and point out that it’s hardly being patriotic by flying the England flag on an Italian built car? <Grumble, Moan... "In my day" etc, etc...>

baldy bloke; the reason why we can't/shouldn't show a flag at all times is the risk of being seen as a NF member. Having stolen our flag for so many years it is about time we took our flag back as being a sign of our identity and not as being a racist - if only NF hadn't hyjacked our pride and turned it into a racism arguement, we could all have flags when/where we wanted.

There's no such thing as fake nationalism, anything is better than nothing, however, it can't and shouldn't look as if it is making you a racist.

NB: The above is not an opinion but accepted fact, unfortunately flying a George flag in this country => NF :(:(

Oh and they do look tatty ;)

And Barbarian is right, I once saw a Jap car driven by a fairly obvious patriot - lots of flags, number plate like "English and proud" underneath etc. etc. Bit ironic that they are driving a Japaneese car isn't it!

That "Japanese" car could well have been built in Swindon or Sunderland... whereas your "British" Ford has most likely been built in Spain or Germany. Ho hum

The only reason the NF have hijacked the flag is because the rest of us have ignored it for so long - so whose fault is that?

It doesn't matter where such a car is built, the profit still went to the same place, the same place that a true nationalist shouldn't agree with - but they are too bothered with attacking other people I suppose.

I am not disgareeing with that and I really hope Euro 04 let's us take it back somewhat - just to show it now is making the wrong impession. I just wish the NF hadn't turned patriotism into racism, it hasn't happened in Wales or Scotland, so why did WE let it happen? It's a sad day when I have to look at cars and think "do they like football or are they a skin head?" - That's not my fault, it's the fault of society :(

If people like you go and help us reclaim our flag, good on you, right now though, I feel I can't show a flag.

I think we Englsih have lost the plot when it comes to being English. Most of us celebrate St Patrick's day moe than St George's day. I realise that neither were English, but we should make the effort. I suspect a lot of people don't even know when St George's day is....

I'm very English, but I don't feel the need to have a tacky plastic flag dangling from either my Italian or Swedish car. The bottom line is that they are truly naff!!
