Does anyone know roughly how much i can expect my 36k service to be on my Stilo.

Its the 1.9JTD 115 in Dynamic Trim, it should be due sometime after christmas.

Hope it doesnt cost me to much.

Also, is my car needing a cam belt change or anything like that sometim ein the near future.

Many thanks. (y)

Yikes :bang: , so what i save in fuel costs from my previous car ends up being spent on my service.

Its a good job i have got £500 in savings, and get my 10% bonus at christmas.

Well my 1.6 goes in the end of October so Ill let you know how much that is! Shes about the same as yours a 36k service! Cam belt changes are worth doing think you need to do them every 5 years or 70k miles? Mine was £175 +VAT I think!

Dealer all you have to do is ring a dealer and ask. I had mine done my trusted local garage, had them do a hell of a lot of stuff and all in was £280, but I'd already bought the service items and some brake pads etc so including oils and small stuff maybe closer to £320 all in.

Not according to the service schedule you should find in you owners manual :D

cambelt is 70k or 5 years whichever comes sooner, some people like to do it before then just for peace of mind.

if it's out of warranty then just get a trusted local garage to do it for you, best thing to do is you buy the parts and tell them what you want changing/fitting

I do all my own servicing on cars, but let Fiat do the cambelts.
My reasoning being that if theres a problem after the cambelts fitted, I would rather deal with a main dealer than an independent. I find the main dealers 12 months warranty on the work re-assuring too.

I mean if the belt fails 10 months on and takes the engine with it....
Peace of mind really paying the main dealer rates.
Now if it were a repair that had no major consequences if it failed, that would be different.

Regards
NB, Problem with buying parts and getting a garage to fit them is they wont guarantee the job if the parts fail.
