Hi,
Just went to open the boot on my Multiwagon and the hydraulics appear to work and then don't. Just about to hand the car over to my wife so she can use the boot to take the mamouth pram that every new born chid requires!

So I wonder, is the boot connected to the electrical system (I'm having problems with the Skyroof also and so this can be added to the list)? Or is it a mechanical failiure.

Cheers,
teve

The only hydraulics on the tail gate are the two arms which are on each side if the tail gate ..so are you referring to the electronic opening ficility you have on the plip for opening the boot :chin:

Yes, the boot opens with a sensor but that is not what I meant. I was wondering if the two hydraulic arms on the tail gate might be electronically controlled. The car is a 2003 model so really early for hydraulics to fail.

Cheers,
Steve

Electronic hydraulics huh

Blimey, that must be the first time I've ever head anyone expect more features from the Stilo than it actually offers

I think a few guys (or was it a few wives) suggested it would be handy if the boot opened by itself when approaching with a load of shopping

There's so much electronic hi jinks going on in this car I've no idea what is reasonable to expect any more. A functioning motor perhaps:(

Hydraulic arms are simply that ..and not operated by the electronics :) think I saw some on flea bay the other day for a multi wagon :chin:

Thanks, I checked but they're gone. Any idea who are the Italian spare parts specialists?
