i cant find my manual right now guys, so can someone tell me were the reservoir is for the window washers? also whats the best anti-freeze combination to use this time of year?

"SERIES 2" 3 Door 1.9 JTD Dynamic in Metallic Black with MP3 player, leather gearstick & steerinig wheel!

Front left hand side of engine bay.

Book says 50/50 mix of distilled water and anti freeze.. AFAIK it would have come out of the factory with that mix already!

2.4 Abarth ( Manual ) Black ... nothing else to say really.

I could be wrong, but the information you've given sounds more like engine coolant stuff to me.

I must add though, that I don't know where the windscreen washer reservoir is because I am waiting for the delivery of my Stilo. It was just the fluid details that sounded incorrect (anti-freeze is for coolant, screenwash is for washing the screen and it shouldn't need to be 50/50 mixture at this time of year, as it isn't cold enough to freeze the washer reservoir).

Look in the manual, or under the bonnet, look at all the big bottles, on the lid of the correct one there is an image of a windscreen and a squirty icon! :) Its on the near front passenger side on mine! :I

53 plate, Stilo 3-door, Sassy grey, Alloys to follow, 1.2 Active, 5-Disc CD-Changer -- 45mpg!

For this time of year the concentration really only needs to be based on:

1) how cheap you are
3) how concentration the stuff you use is
2) how much you like the smell
3) how much you like the slight cleaning ability you get

The chance of freezing is so low that you can easily run without any screenwash but most prefer it for the cleaning it can do.

I would do only about 10% in mine right now.

Sorry... it looks that way but the two questions in JTDs post, first line was where washer bottle is and second bit with the 50/50 mix was for the antifreeze part of the question.

as for Anti Freeze mix, I just read the manual at the time and thats the figure given.... plus I would imagine they come out of the factory to that spec?
