I needed mine out once to fit the CD changer - this is what I did.

Find the two holes, one either side of the CD player slot.
e.g.

o =========================== o

Then, take a long & thin screw driver and push it into one hole until some resistance is felt - hopefully the nav unit will start to move forwards a little.

Then push the screwdriver into the other hole again until resistance is felt.

The unit will kind look like it's coming out now. Give it a gentle pull and it should leave the dashboard. If doesn't try pushing the screw driver into the holes a little more.

This worked for me on a Connect Nav (so assuming the holes are also present on a Connect Nav+ too!)

Do you have the full Connect Nav+ system. What cd Changer did you fit please? I am tring to find out what plug socket I need as I hope to get an adapter to run composite in from it. so when you choose cdc you should be able to connect an iPod or equivalent.
