Hi all, Bit of a saga this! But finally the ac is working again yippee!!, Had a compressor fitted today and it all works fine

ac tested £25
need new pipe £97
new pipe fitted + regas + oil £100
no airflow into car
new pollen filter fitted £37
good preassure/no leaks also no compression!
took compressor off 52 plate abarth £120(interior fire! Leather as well! )
compressor fitted + gas/oil etc £60
I know it's a lot of money but it was over an 8 week period so it didn't hurt too much!, Bring on the hot hot weather!!.

Ouch, thats a fair bit of dosh! Still at least you have things running the way they should.

How cold is the air?

Its great i've set the climate to 17 degrees C and it has that nice chill to it, Took my sunglasses off and the metal frame was freezing!, Suppose i'll notice the mpg is even worse now!!

Im gonna look into how much i can get my old compressor reconditioned for and either keep it or ebay it and recoup some of the money i layed out as Fiat want £345+vat and your old one in exchange.
