I know a lad who lives up the road who hit Bambi on the M62 in his escort you should have seen the mess it made of his car i thaught he'd been involved in a pile up when it was dropped off by the recovary firm...

chatting to him the police stopped and were in the process of removing what was left of bambi from the carrige way when he walked back up the hard shoulder to tell them what had happened the copper turned round and said "we know you wouldnt have got far!"


Did anyone see that episode of fith gear where they drove the new clio into a pig on a styrofoam block to see if it would airbag the clio? apparently wild bore are very common in Germany...

I happended to drive into what i think was a Magpie in the job car the other day, Little blighter flew in front of me just as i was doing 70...needless to say it was black and white confetti behind me for a few hundred yards. Poor thing

Was driving home from work tonight about 1830 and a pigeon flew in front of me as I was doing about 80. Now the funny thing is, I saw him and slowed. He then turned to fly directly in front of my car heading in the same direction as me. Now a pigeon can't fly at 70mph and so I curiously watched him racing for his life away from me until I suddenly realised I was gaining on him at a rate of about 30mph. It wasn't until I realised I had my skyroof open (the thought of pidgeon gubbins all over the back seat) that I decided to check my rear view mirror again and nail the brakes. Just in the nick of time, the poor bleeder bounced off the roof pillar. I rekon the impact was probably about 10mph difference by the time I slowed. Enough not to damage my car, but I rekon enough to feed a fox for the night.
