Just phoned local parts companys regarding replacement front springs for my 02 Abarth.

None of them seem to reconise this model or there computer indicates no parts are available of this type.

Are they the same as the 1.9 JTD?

When searching for replacement springs online, it stated 1.9jtd/2.4

Just wondered if anyone has any info regarding this

Cheers Danny

Re: Springs?

If its straight replacement for OEM spec springs you're looking for, Lesjofors will supply:

http://www.lesjoforsab.com/automotive/eng/default_eng.aspx?p=catalog&s=javacat

Selct FIAT and Stilo and you will see a listing for 2.4 20V Hatchback.

You can find out your nearest UK supplier by ringing Lesjofors Springs UK Ltd on 01422 373336.

Not that simple YP, there was a change around 04 which means two different types of Eibach's for Abarths/JTD's. Both Koa & I sent sets back as they were different to those needed. If the OP does a search on lowering he/she will see what I mean.

Another reason for a sticky/sub section perchance?

Danny, to answer your question, the Abarth shares it's springs with all 2.4 Models and the 150bhp JTD.

DO NOT be fooled into getting normal JTD springs, as these won't fit - Abarth's and 150MJet's have a 35mm wide hub fixing, all others have 25mm.

That's news to me

I've got a set of Abarth springs and they look identical to my old JTD springs.

Most after-market suppliers seem to equate Abarth = JTD (aside from the points made by Bozzy)
