So I've had the Stilo 4months now and heres what its story so far.

Bought some Birba Dials and fitted them, very glad I did this mod as I spend enough time looking at it.

Forked out for some 17" Claws after Fiat couldn't get me a set of the right 5 spokes. With some Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.

Fitted a Dension ipod kit through the back of the stereo and a nice sony ericsson bluetooth kit with screen.

After 6 weeks waiting I finally got the right skirts, Lester abarth replicas. These went in yesterday for painting and fitting along with colour coding the handles. Popped down today but they weren't finished so I'm picking it up tomorrow and will put up some more photos.

Very happy with it so far.. I know its nothing special but I picked this 05 up for 12500eur with 5000miles on the clock. The equivilent with 20k+ miles with skirts and alloys was 16500-17500k. So I've saved a lot having done it all bit by bit.

Oh and I picked up some of those flat blade wipers..very good!

Calipers will be painted as soon as I'm finished these exams and springs and shocks might get done at the end of the year or next year. Oh and not going with a remap for the moment.

Another other suggestions for small, simple mods then let me know!

lol the L plate is your best mod :p

i like what your doing. keeping it clean is the best way to go (y) what about changing the grill and a spot of debadging? works wonders

i missed the thread about the dials mate. Not on here much now adays as i only use the internet at work now.. Were did you get them from and how much did they set you back, looks suttle yet, very impressive? You can PM me details if you dont want to spam your thread. Oh and any tips on fitting them too (y)

Me too, if you wouldn't mind! :) I want to get some white dials and side skirts for mine as well.

June got them as standard on her new 1.4 and I have to say they look very nice indeed (y)

We need a link

One thats got MPH on them :)

I bought them from www.birba.com. They only do the Km/h version though but I'm sure if enough people made an order they would make a mph one? I read on here before the Lockeed make the mph version but they're direct copies of the normal white stilo ones(not that theres anything wrong there) but these are slightly different again. I also wrote a guide on the whole thing with pictures if you want to check it out here. Its not to hard at all really once you get the steering column off. Just remember to take pictures otherwise you could be screwed.

Got the car back today with the skirts and handles sprayed. Looking very nice now however, they didn't use the fixing I supplied and instead they used a big silver tapper on either end. Very noticable, so going to look for Fiat's touch up paint to fix this. Would I need to prime the bolt or just paint it on as its not going to be seen really?

They also didn't do the best job on fitting them despite being one of the best bodyshops around. There are some gaps left along the skirts. How should I go about this? Fill a bit of sealer/adhesive in and wipe off excess then prop it or what? Really need some tips for this.

I'll have photos up tomorrow when the tape comes off:eek:

Oh and I think I paid about 70euro for them incl shipping ... even though it is just a piece of plastic.

They did a very bad job fitting them and they pretty much came off the body the other day so I've now stuck them on properly and filled the gaps. Its looking much better now (y)

So some people have now got me thinking of a ragazzon exhaust :) Are there any other exhausts I should look at.. don't want something loud just a bit of a gurgle more like an alfa

Your main problem is that you are not located in the uk Mainland so your access is limited to what you can get hold of by post ..I know a number of very good companies and one in particular that are the people that Oldschool uses through Performance stilo these people along with Oldschool redesign the system from a performance perspective and also add a sports cat to the system ..the 1.4 hasn't been done yet but will be and I can guarantee will produce and release much more power from your engine than any of the cat back systems made at many outlets throughout the UK ..dont get me wrong here some are very good and actually know what they are doing.. but by the same token the vast majority are very poor and take away power from the engine and are for style rather that bhp :)
