I've just returned from my local dealership and asked the service manager what the 12K servicing cost for a Stilo and he said it's £129.

I also got an email from Rockingham FIAT today here it is below.

Sorry I am not aware of your name but I have just returned from holiday and found your e-mail on my system.
The cost of a 24k sevice is £155.00 without air con and £185.00 with air con.
Price includes all parts ,consumables and VAT. Work carried out as in Fiat schedule in the service book.

I've been quoted £175 by Arnold Clark it's going in on Saturday (I've got Aircon.) So £129 is pretty dam good if you ask me. You hardley get an oil change and filter for £100 these days .

To be honest I wish I'd never bothered though because since it's been serviced the power steerings failed, the air conditioning no longer works and the engine keeps cutting out!

Took it in yesterday and I now need a new steering column. Another excellent job by the Fiat servicing experts. I got so frustrated yesterday I even went to a Ford garage to look at a Focus!

My first service is due in June and I'm going to give Stoneacre a go.
The service menager told me that his technicians are very brand loyal and aware as they all taken from a previous franchise of eight years, so hopefully they'll have some good FIAT knowledge.

I've also been told that the best FIAT technician are always part of the Alfa dealerships as they are more skilled and specialised, so if you have a local FIAT/Alfa dealership you should use them, particularly if you have an Abarth.

I've had my Stilo Abarth serviced at Rockingham cars recently. They are probably the most knowledgable and honest dealership i've dealt with to date. Speak to Harry, and he should be able to help with most questions you have about you motor.
