I have just purchased a new OMP stutbrace set (f+r) from STRUTBRACER on e-bay.

Fitted the rear on, no problem. As i went to fit the front brace i noticed there where no fixings with the brace. I have tried contacting STRUTBRACER but no luck in getting a answer or any fixings.

 Can anyone please tell me what they got with there brace?
i.e Type of bolt/screw, dimensions?

Your help everyone would be appreciated. I just don't wish to do a bodged job and want correct type/size bolts.

Must say the rear end is now ssssoooooooo much more stable now new brace on.(y)

I got 8 bolts, used 6 to fit the brace and 2 are spares.

Do not know what size are the bolts :( or how to tell bolt sizes at all...sorry

btw: how is the rear brace fitted? I remember someone here describing it hard to fit and special tools required? Thats why i didnt buy the rear one.

Yes thats them M6 tell Nick sorry the old cogs need oiling and just couldnt remember the size of the bolts :( but you should have had a set of them with the brace koob :bang:

M6 or M8 got it, and thanks guys. can any one post a piccie of one, being cheeky now i know.(y)

:D Rear brace was easy to fit, maybe because me and 55stilo have uprated shocks. The piston did not drop or need to be held whilst removing the top nut. only pain was cutting trim to allow bar to pass through each side.:D

If u dont mind losing a bit of boot space this is the best stilo mod you can buy. makes the rear of the car feel so much more responsive.:worship:

How did you cut the trim? Post some pics if possible.

This is the best of my bolts :D

I was considering fitting F & R strut braces however i am not keen on using self tappers. Can you get acess to the underside of the suspention turret with the wheel removed to use nut and bolt's?

Also can you post a picture of the boot with the brace specificly where you cut the plastic trim.

cheers (y)

After removing a suspension leg last month I think nuts and bolts may just be posible but just a little tight  I woulduse spring washers thoughto help locking up the nuts [no dirty comments please] :)
