First of all you need a 3.5mm to 2RCA wire. the most common type of AUX wire, you can get them from asda. 1 side is red and white input, the other end is an ordinary headphone jack.

you will also need a star headead screwdriver, i forgot the exact size, its to undo the bolts at the top of the upper glovebox so check the size out before you go buying one or anything.

1) Remove the stereo, obviously it differs for different makes and models (no need to plug it out, just get it out the way)

2) undo the 2 bolts at the top of the upper glovebox

3) undo the 3 bolts at the top of the LOWER glovebox (2 are clearly visible, 1 is tucked away a little bit, still easy to get too though)

4) now pull out the lining of the upper glovebox, it might need a little tug to get the bottom out.

5) now you can see wires and stuff, to the right is clear access to the back of your headunit, find your AUX input and plug one end of your AUX wire into it (make sure you feed it back through the hole we just revealed and out of the glovebox)

6) now would be a good idea to test your wire before you screw it all back up

7) now replace your headunit and screw it back into place (or whatever you do)

8) get the glovebox lining and feed the wire through the small rectangle bit on the left

9) now replace the glovebox, your wire should easily make it through the gap in the lining even when its fully in place.

10) screw the glovebox lining back in and your done !

you can even stow the wire in the glovebox when you leave the car :slayer:

if anyone wants pics then give us a shout and i'll see about getting some up, i don't know if this will be popular at all so haven't done any yet.
