Stilo Changing Stilo JTD Air filter

I did mine last weekend. This is a good guide and makes it straight forward. I cleaned my MAF at the time and the inside of the hoses as there was oil. Maplin do lots of cleaners but they do a contact cleaner that leaves no residue and removes oil and grime and is ok with plastic and doesn't corrode metal. It comes with a mini plastic straw. You will not be able to remove the MAF from the housing unless you have a Torq plus set of 5 star security bits. [Don't waste time trying to get one from town because you won't, use the internet if you have to have one.]. Using the elastic band bend the straw back on itself and spray inside the housing to clean the front of the MAF, mind your eyes. Worked a treat - my engine light doesn't come on half as much now!!!!! Be careful with the spray as it naturally freezes components as it evaporates. I recommend short bursts, as I can't guarantee freezing the MAF sensor won't harm it.

My MAF bolts just turned and cracked the housing so I just removed the big pipe on the front of the MAF and then undid the 2 clips on the air box then by pushing the big pipe back the door on the airbox opens enough to change the filter easily
