Followed a grey 100hp (WM07 or MW07 I think) from the Wicker out to Meadowhall this evening. It's the first I've seen since I bought my black 100hp and also the first I've seen for a long time.

Not mine, as mine is 11 reg and white. I work in Sheffield so you may see mine at some point.

I've seen one red 07 100hp near Sheffield, but generally they're not the most common car around. Nicely proportioned abd handsome in its way.

Where abouts in Sheffield do you work? I work on Tenter Street next to the BMW dealership.

Was good to see another one on the road, re-assured me that it doesn't look too bad! Must say I think I prefer the grey to the black that I have.

Tenter Street eh? Next to Sytner? Well, that presumably means you know all about broadband. On the rare occasion I drag myself into the office, I am pretty much bang opposite - in fact my previous desk overlooked Tenter Street. I'll probably go into the office late Feb or March. Car will be 1 year old and creeping up to 5000 miles.

Yup, spot on! Although if you're not in the office until March you might find that we've moved out by then. I shall keep my eyes peeled though!

They're moving premises? Not surprised. God knows why they need a city centre location. Bad for parking.

Aaah we used to love to watch the smokers out front - had names for them all. Mr Pink the manager/supervisor chap (based on the fact that he once wore a pink shirt). We imagined him to be the laissez-faire type manager, egging the 'troops' on for that extra push to get the Q1 targets improved. Happy days.

I miss the worlds longest piece of construction - the resurfacing of Bakers Lane.

You'd think so, but we're moving closer to the centre. Trippet Lane to be precise, with less parking available  Probably be kissing goodbye to my parking permit. Having said that the current building is kind of falling down so will be good to get the hell out of there (y)

Not sure if you're in the well-known-bank building opposite, but I'll not be sorry when I don't have to look at it's ugly mug any more! What with the defunct police station and various other 70's monstrosities, it's not the prettiest location in Sheffield.

You are dissing that gorgeous building form the mid-1970s? Goodness me. It's a classic, up there with the Parthenon, the Pantheon and the pyramids.

Yeah - Sheffield's 20th and 21st century buildings leave a lot to be desired. That whole area is an ugly mess.

I've seen a few around, if you see a Red 07 (Looking rather dirty atm!) Give me a wave :D And Ab100 must have been me you saw:cool:
