Was it a young black guy driving it?
I had a bit of a... umm... spirited drive up the Cambridge a while back with a yellow Mk2 & when we pulled up at these same lights (except I was where he is in your pic & he was turning right) he & his friends wanted to know all about my engine!

Lol, A73uk. you and about a couple of hundred other people have had quite spirited drives down that stretch of the A10 it's usually when the locals wana hit the Mc D's by the Krispy Kremes!

Well I did not get a look at the driver too well I was a bit far to see, but that driver your referring to I think lives in Southgate as there is a Sporting pulled up at a residential down there when I pass through on my way to Work in the mornings ? that could be your guy but there may obviously be more than one Black guy driving a Yellow Sporting. Although I recall seeing another Yellow sporting pulled up by the 99p store on the Enfield one way system, very clean Punto but it had a Colour mis-matched yellow boot compared to the original paint work like as if it had come out of the tin, none too flattering compared to the rest of the car IMO...:yuck:

I was just driving normally, but he decided he wanted to keep up, thing is, I was in the XJR.. I dont know what he was thinking!
Well thats strange, I saw a very tidy lowered yellow Mk2 Sporting at Southgate circus roundabout a couple of days ago (think it was Friday lunchtime) when I was in my Uno, but it was an English looking bloke with glassses driving it!
And talking about Soutgate, I had another spirited drive with a guy in a red, clean & modified Mk1 GT up there a few months ago, but this time I was in my bog standard Uno (1.1!), so he was pulling well ahead of me on the straights!
Seen him a couple of times since, but going the other way.
