Just cold n a bit damp right now. Maybe some patches of snow and ice remaining on the un-gritted roads.

I've got a collegue who lives in consett and he's managing fine. Still some standing snow on paths etc but main roads clear and side roads almost clear.
If I was you I would be checking forcasts check with whoever youre going to see what the weather is like because I live very near to Consett and at the moment it is snowing like fook.
