Saw a New Orleans blue panda identical to mine in every way (apart from Number plate which started with BN08 i think) in the under ground car park of the New Eagles Meadow shopping centre in Wrexham on Saturday. Was going to park next to it for a laugh but there was no space!

Bit of a plug for Eagles Meadow but shops are cool, Ten pin looks awesome but the pay machine for parking took the absolute p**s!

that machine robbed ma £2 coin on sunday....lol saw a black sei on the carpark steam pouring out must have overheated

lol I spent ages trying to force a pound in the slot, then i realised it's sealed until you type your number plate in! That was probably my brother you saw, he followed me over in his black sei, was it a sporting? Bloody thing is always overheating! Think he needs a new rad.

I see there a few of us fiat owners on the forum from wrexham, we should all meet up sometime. Get a good pic in the eagles meadow car park

Good Idea however i live 50 miles from Wrexham and only go there now and again to either get the Panda fixed under warranty, or do some bowling, shopping or cinema etc. Take it most Wrexham area FF members use Stoneacre? If so, what was the service like in general? just had the MJ serviced there, overall quite good but they scuffed the bumper up when they washed it!

tbh with you i think stoneacre are sh*t and so does my dad, half the time they dont know whats going on coz the staff always seem to be moving from branch to branch. I live in Wrexham but i went to shrewbury for my fiat, a lot better service. where in north wales you from?

:chin:
I live not far from Wrexham, and it's on my way to work. However, I take my car to TJ Vickers at Shrewsbury too, even though it's out of my way, and makes my journey to work take nearly 2 hours.
Draw your own conclusions...

My dad wont take his Renaultsport 225 Megane there either, it had a recall so he took it in and they phone for us to collect it and they hadn't even done it, I think they had it for 3 days in all just to plug computer in to check a error code!!!! where abouts are you from hmallett?

I'm from Dolgellau near the west coast (10 minutes from Barmouth) 50 miles from Wrexham approx. Maybe i will take mine to TJ Vickers in future, cars only been to Stone Acre once or twice and last time they scratched it with the car wash! I'm reluctant to take mine to TJ's though because i took a car for a test drive and went back with a scratched/scuffed bumper (which they never got back to me about) persumably they either never noticed or they noticed too late, i was gone pretty sharpish!

How you manage to scuff the bumper on a test drive? ha. I use to ride a bit up Dolgellau way. You heard of Bro Cader Motor Clycle Club...

Er...It was a Panda Cross, and i wanted to see how good it was off road, answer is, very good, excellent in fact, must have thought it had more ground clearance than it actually has. Did 340 miles total so quite a thorough test drive! I had plenty of time to think of excuses on the way back but luckily they never inspected it!

Not heard of that club, but the Cader Idris hold many events/races on foot and on bike, the view from the top is awesome.

340 miles, that was a fair test drive, you have the car for a week?

A week?! No i had it for 1 day only, so i made the most of it! I know you drive a GP, but what do you think of the Cross? Pic below.

The Cross only came out in August in the UK. I enjoyed driving it, not the fastest car but off road, nothing would stop it, it never got stuck. The best bit is the price, RRP is £12000 ish but thanks to credit crunch etc, I've seen them for less than £9000! Cheapest diesel 4x4 in UK. Anyway, what's the T-jet like to drive? Quick? What do you think to the GP Abarth?

The T-jet is a pretty fun car, really torquey too and pretty quick. Yea the Abarth is a nice car too, went down to stoke on trent to have a look at 1 about a month ago. typical thou the demo was away and so was the man that deals with abarth so i didn't have a test drive.

Ah gutted, i really wanted an Abarth for a long time. Then the 500 Abarth but i'll see next year, they're a bit pricey, i think they would loose a lot of money. Probably end up with a panda 100HP or a Cross. What's the turbo lagg like on the T-jet? What sort of MPG's you getting?

I dont get any turbo lag its really smooth, MPG really depends on how you drive it as you know. Been sensable 40ish but if you want a bit of fun and start taking it to 5500 - 6000 rpm I think its about 28ish. I took a trip upto Portmadog when I firsh had it and I think I got 44MPG that was top gear pretty much all the way, not alot on the road and I wasn't hangin about. So over all MPG not bad

Why don't you take it to Slaters in Abergele? Should be a touch closer to you though probably slower with the roads round here. I have no idea how good they are though to be fair but the sales staff seemed nice enough.
