I live in Measham near Swadlincote ( J11 of M42 ) but work in Tamworth near Dosthill ( Near CO-OP superstore ) tho im originally from Tamworth anyway. But got Mates in both Tamworth and Swadlincote, so im usually somewhere round the two! Know what you mean about the flooding on the Snowdome car park, can't belive they gona build a hotel there are they mad!! I got a N reg mk1 1.6 Punto Sporting in dark blue metalic, tho its off road at the mo as gearbox needs repairing. So running round in my mums fiesta until i can get it sorted, so what was a rolling project is turning into a long term project! But should be back on the road very soon, good to know there are plenty of people on the forum in the area. Would be good to organise a meet if there enough intrest? Especially as alrady mentioned there's Kingsbury water park not far away, plus some good pubs to meet up at as well.

Just noticed the bit bout the Bowling Green, ( im a wally! ) bin there loads of times. Be good to meet up there soon if everyone going there again?:bang:

Well i got a gearbox sorted at last!! collecting that from Derby tomorrow. So all being well im hoping the car should be back on the road end of next month! Il see how i go and il keep you posted, im up for a meet soon if there any takers? Definately think the Bowling Green would be best, as it seems about right sort of distance for everyone to travel. Sure ive seen dnLcal round Tamworth by the Asda at Ventura Park, and near BP petrol station at upper gungate. So small world as they say hey! il have to keep an eye out for you all now. Although still riding round in the Fiesta or my brother's Cavalier for a while longer, until my pocket rocket is back!!

how about a meet at the snowdome itself? plenty of parking, pub to chill in, and people falling over to laugh at lol...?

that sounds like a plan to me actually! And some of us could venture onto the slope if we so chose!!

Im well up for that, il have to pull my finger out tho now and get the gearbox fitted back in my Punto!!

My gearbox and other bits are being fixed this weekend yay! gettin my priorities in order at last!!

Okay lets do this!! im working this saturday all day. But im free next saturday or sunday if that's not too soon? If that's no good lets plan sumet for next month then nobody has an excuse!!
