In my days I have ran many forums and I know it can be a pain in the back side when it comes to managing as you dont get the time to check through every post and reply made.

So on one of my previous web sites which became quite popular i took the time to archive sections that were 'x' ammount of time old and archived it on to a sub domain with an index for convenience. I know it takes quite a while to setup but once the ball starts rolling it becomes easier to manage everything in general.

Just an idea... :)

Between us, the mods and admin do check every single post and reply made - we have a busy team here, for a busy forum.

Personally, I don't see the need for this - I am sure Ben has it all under control (y)

Yeah I didnt mean this in a management way because its the same ammount of work.

I was just bringing this up because the sheer volume size of the database must be massive!

Probably... Most defferently!!!
I also thought this as a backup. I know this site is probably is automatically backedup but just incase the site ever went down, got hacked or anything the the archived info would be safe!
