ok with the other thread going off the rails a a bit , i thought WE should all cast a vote to see how we all feel about having a small section for members to discuss about other cars (they may have or if a friend or member of thier faimly wants soem advice about thier car)

i know this is a fiat forum, but i thhink it is unfair for memebrs who have been loyall to this forum for years, to sell thier car and not been able to find another sutible forum to go onto and discuss problems about their (NEW) car

Thats the problem, people would have to be mature if it was going to work.

It would have to have a policy of constructive criticism like all the other sections.

We wouldnt want every section turning into a fiat vs other make :)
 
I am interested for this section to occur, mainly as a help for my course, to vary my knowledge on various vehicles. It might broaden everyone elses to know a bit more about other vehicles.

However Lora makes a good point, there would have to be maturity about it, it could end up as a slanging match

Go on Ben, give it a go, that way we can at least find out first hand if it works. If it causes any problems then just delete the section :)

Voted No, its a Fiat Forum.

I'm feeling lazy and couldn't be bothered to read all the post but IMO theres nothing to stop us all discussing our other cars/bikes/trains&planes in the Leisure Lounge; I thought that was what the Lounge was for - stuff thats not necessarily to do with our Fiats although often it is indirectly. Adding a section for other cars would make it the uk transport forum surely? Well thats my opinion anyway

It looks like the vote has gone slightly in favour of it, is it being considered in the back room where all the beers are ? :cool:
 
Well I just checked the voteometer and it reads 44.4%against and 37% for a small section so NOWS THE TIME TO CLOSE THE VOTE :p :D
 
Well if the votes that are for the new section are actually put together which they should be then the vote is actually 55.56% in favour of going ahead.
Whats the matter Phil, you be happier if I and the others left the forum :cry:

No Mark I dont wish to see anyone leave you know now I feel and hope you value my friendship as much as I value yours :) TBO you and many others EG W.R.P have been here a damn site longer than I have as I am a relitive newbie here but I am expressing myself as others are on the Question put forward and I chose Fiat forum for fiats I just hope that this does not cause a rift between people that have been friends for in some cases many years and I hope that people can see my point of view just as I see yours .
