As just mentioned in the newsletter that just went out (assuming you're still subscribed ) - this is the thread to get some feedback on it.

Is it interesting?
Frequency is ok?
10 linked threads enough?

Basically anything you have to say about it, how it's doing - and anything you might like added removed - we'd love to know

I like this news letter.

I believe it helps many of the members who have less time on their hands to make regular visits to the forum to get a quick look at what has been going on thus allowing them not to loose touch with FF.

A suggestion would be to have a very brief "Coming Events" section with links to fuller detail on the FF. Unless you regularly visit/keep tabs on the FF Events Thread then it is easy to forget to check. "Eye Catchers" in the Newsletter would be very beneficial.

Will be interesting to see how the "algorithm" develops over time

Sorry, got no interest at all in this sort of thing, I don't need any more software applications deciding what's "trending" and what I may be interested in.

Already pestered too much by "targeted advertising" and newsletters displaying "highlights of the week" or whatever...

Just to be clear, the software doesn't pick the final posts by itself.

It gives us (the moderators) a list of 50 it thinks are relevant and we vote on them. Then based on our voting, it returns the final list.

The idea is, in the future, it sees what kind of things we voted highly on and thus gives us more of those types as possible inclusions.

Upcoming events... Yes! That's a great idea ?

I have not yet seen a newsletter, but I'm not too bothered. It's a bit like the tumultuous welcome I received when I introduced myself in the newbies corner...

Sorry about that - I had hoped it would last longer than a week! haha.
